My work observes and embraces our surroundings. Often mimicking or utilizing raw natural materials as a juxtaposition to todays (fashion) world.
Ideas, concepts and stories are communicated through inherent attributes like material and shape, even weight or scent. Speaking of material, I really enjoy to explore and experiment, often driven by the process itself. My designs also feature a fine curation of influences, such as classic uniform and workwear, historical references and interdisciplinary arts. Nature and traditional craftsmanship are recurring themes in my work.
