					There is something unsound about the rhythm of todays production.

Working exclusively with forgotten materials - pure old wool, clothes found in attics, fabrics eaten by moths and time - this project explores how intentional craftsmanship, care and slower times can be translated into a contemporary practice. Clothes are unpicked seam by seam; textiles are patched and mended until they can hold a new story. 

Referencing the Industrial Revolution as a metaphor for the alienation of work. A shift from careful craftsmanship to invisible, unsung labour.

The garments are a composition of material, traces of time, improvisations and repair - hints of the human touch. They are not meant to be sterile objects, but favorite pieces to be kept, worn, repaired and cared for.

Each stitch is as much a practical as a philosophical gesture. Details are not loud explanations, but intimate conversations with those who look and care.

Similar to a bucket and a river, extracting a semi-permanent object from a continuously flowing body of water,&#38;nbsp; a moment in time is captured.

traditional production process and material-typical garments.

Textile Work
	Conceptually talking about the resurrection of the craftsman. Storytelling through material.
Textile is sourced from a construction. Fabric was buried underground for years.
The time-ridden workjacket was presented in a performative act.

	Textile as found object. Impression of a ready-made. 
The garments appear as if they were found in a garden or an old attic. This look is achieved by warping classic garments. 
Composition of sourcing and manipulating textile.Antique and discolored fabrics reworked. Various material manipulations like coating, printing, burning or painting to imitate traces of time.

	Exploration of volume and texture. Somewhere inbetween a duvet and a wearable garment, this work explores the relation of 2D and 3D shapes.&#38;nbsp;

The idea of the weight one has to carry is presented through characteristic attributes like shape, material, texture and weight. The object, almost too heavy to carry for more than a few minutes, is imitating a big rock. Various sewing techniques and materials are used to achieve this look and feel. Fabrics were manipulated, coated, bleached or painted.&#38;nbsp;

	The video is documenting a fictional journey around the world, depicted by sculpural chairs. Each chair represents another country. Historical, economical and cultural topics are reflected by the choice of material and overall composition. References include the wests global role, the fall of USSR, hospitality or mass production.
